Triple Load on Engine 1


There has been some recent discussion on the proper procedure of loading the crosslays on Engine 1 and the other apparatus of similar design. I think we all realize the importance of taking the time to neatly stow all hoses and equipment, both for visual appearance to the public and for efficiency in deployment, so we will save that discussion for another time. Today I want to just point out a few useful tips that I have received from Engine 1 personnel.

In the following pictures you will see a breakdown of the procedure for loading the crosslays in the bins on E1 from preparation to final load.
