Water Can Basics

With all that we are responsible for knowing in the Fire Service, it is important to not forget the little things. We may feel that we know all there is to know about some things, so we leave them out when it comes to training to get to more advanced procedures. Today I want to discuss the "Water Cans". Most firefighters are very familiar with water cans as far as the operation and maintenance of them, however

they are one of those little things that we don't really think about much. The videos I have included here point out some basic tactics and procedures in the use and maintenance of water cans, and maybe a few things that you haven't thought about or maybe even haven't learned yet. Note: before adding any enhancements to your equipment, always get proper approval from your administration.
